UH Coog Moms Scholarship

 

Congratulations to the 2023-24 Scholarship Recipients!

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ​The candidate shall be a current, full-time student (enrolled in at least 12 semester credit hours) at The University of Houston and shall be classified as a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior in good standing. The candidate shall have a minimum overall GPA of 2.50. Incoming freshmen are not eligible to receive a scholarship.

  • The scholarship award is a fixed amount and is to be applied to normal tuition, fees, and books. The scholarship will be split in half for fall and spring term of the academic year. The student must be enrolled in both semesters to receive the full scholarship.

To facilitate the confirmation of your student's eligibility, please be sure you entered their name in the Student section of your Contact Information card in our MTK Coog Moms database. You can access it by clicking the link to sign in on our home page.

 

APPLICATION PROCESS:

The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid is excited to offer students the use of Scholarship Universe, an online tool that makes applying for the Coog Moms scholarship easier. The tool is located within your AccessUH account. Just look for the Scholarship Universe icon (pictured), enter the requested information, then search for Coog Moms to find the application.

 

Submit all required information on or before May 31. There are no extensions on the deadline.

NOTIFICATION PERIOD:

​

Applicant will be notified by Coog Moms Scholarship Committee on the outcome of the application no later than August of each year.
